Editorial Storytelling, Rooted in Observation.
“imagery that feels more like art than content”
We document spaces, people, and details as they unfold, guided by light, timing, and presence.
Our work is shaped by a journalistic approach, allowing moments to unfold without intrusion. Rather than directing or staging, we focus on what is already there, creating imagery that feels natural and true to its environment.
We operate as an extension of select brands, bridging image-making with strategic perspective. This allows for a more intentional process while remaining fully aligned with brand vision.
We work at the intersection of photography and brand identity, creating visual narratives designed to support long-term use across marketing and editorial platforms. Each project is approached with a clear understanding of positioning, brand voice, and the experience a brand seeks to convey.
Our process is rooted in intention and respect for the environments we document. We work quietly, allowing atmosphere, detail, and experience to emerge naturally.
We create imagery shaped by observation, environment, and a clear point of view—focused on depth, intention, and a strong sense of place.
The result is work that reflects both the brand and a sense of trust in the experience it represents.
Arena Studios NYC was founded by Brittany Arena and Timothy Mulcare, a New York–based creative team and partners in both life and work, with over two decades of combined experience across photography, marketing, and visual storytelling.
Timothy is a professionally trained photographer with a background in photojournalism, known for his ability to document spaces and moments with a high level of discretion. His work has been featured in publications including Architectural Digest, Travel + Leisure, and The New York Times and has received industry recognition for its distinctive editorial perspective.
Brittany brings a strong foundation in marketing and brand development, having spent over 15 years working with leading real estate and lifestyle brands, including Sotheby’s International Realty and Douglas Elliman, where she developed deep experience in brand positioning and visual marketing. As Creative Director, she ensures each project is approached with a clear understanding of brand identity, positioning, and long-term use.
Together, they combine a journalistic approach with strategic insight, creating work that is both considered and enduring.
A Studio Founded on Experience and Perspective.
At Arena Studios NYC, our work is guided by place, light, and timing, allowing each space to be experienced as intended.
Rooted in a journalistic approach, we focus on observation rather than direction, working within each brand’s vision to create imagery that feels grounded, immersive, and restrained.
By combining visual storytelling with a deep understanding of brand identity, we create work designed to support long-term use across marketing and editorial platforms.
